Described as equal parts Mark Wahlberg, Marlin Perkins, and Ernest Hemingway by the New York Times, Steven Rinella is an avid outdoorsman, writer, and television personality best known for his ability to communicate the hunting lifestyle to a wide variety of audiences. He has been a correspondent for Outside Magazine, and his writing has appeared in the New York Times, Glamour, O the Oprah Magazine, Men’s Journal, among others.

He is the author of the award-winning memoir American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon, The Scavenger’s Guide to Haute Cuisine, and most recently, Meat Eater: Adventures from the Life of an American Hunter.
